Residential Care Facility for the Elderly

Incidental Medical and Dental Care Services
Collaborative Care Coordination
We collaborate and coordinate with home health and hospice agencies, licensed medical professionals, and other specialists for the residents; and work with pharmacies on medications and with vendors on durable medical equipment and supplies.
Assistance with Self-Administered Medications
We assist with medication administration and reminders and manage all medication-related tasks such as ordering initial supplies and refills; tracking supplies that are received and administration records; performing reconciliation with medical providers, pharmacies, and authorized representatives; and monitoring for desired and side effects.
First Aid Treatment
We provide first aid treatment in accordance to the scope of our first aid training and certification. This is applicable to minor wounds, which are monitored to ensure proper healing.
Specialized Condition Management
These conditions require further management due the skilled care and additional training requirements to monitor and address the condition, and it's done so in collaboration with licensed medical professionals and home health/hospice agency.
These can be accepted after a thorough review of records on a case-by-case basis prior to acceptance at Arveah's Care Homes:
Medical and Dental Care Arrangement
We make direct connection with our resident's medical providers and specialists; set-up and attend appointments in-person, virtually, or by phone to discuss needs and plan of care.
We arrange for dental services through their existing dentist or mobile provider we have vetted.
Assistance with Personal Devices
We assist our residents with their personal devices such as laptops or media players; and medical devices such as glucometers, oxygen tanks or concentrators, CPAP machines; and mobility devices such as walkers and wheelchairs.
Emergency Care Response
We train staff to recognize the signs and symptoms of an emergency situation and seek advanced medical emergency treatment by calling 9-1-1. We can initiate CPR in accordance to the basic life support training we have received until advanced emergency response arrives.
Transportation Arrangement
We arrange transportation for residents appointment through private or insurance-approved non-emergent medical transport vendors or with their family. We also attend or accompany our residents to their appointments for an additional cost.
Isolation Accommodation
We make an accommodation to temporarily isolate a resident due to specific conditions as long as it does not require a negative pressure room. We can implement the standards of universal precautions and enhanced isolation.
Depending on the intensity of this need, a transfer to our other facility may be necessary; or a transfer to a healthcare facility may be required as determined by a licensed medical professional.
Nursing Oversight
Our healthcare-licensed certified administrators assess the resident; incorporate the licensed medical professional's assessment and ordered treatments in the formulation and implementation of the plan of care; evaluate the outcome and modify the plan as needed; oversee the care provided by staff; and address any changes with the resident's licensed medical professionals.
